To get to the fantastic island of Elafonissos there are several possibilities:
By plane from any airport to Athens (about _ _ hours), several low cost flights such as Easy Jet, Ryan air, Aegean Air and Air One, then hire car (cheap) and in about 4 hours (Corinth / Tripoli / Sparta / Neapolis) you get to the ferry (10 minutes) that takes you to the island of dreams ...
In the summer months flights from (Bergamo to Kalamata with Ryanair, then car hire and in about 3 hours you arrive at the ferry port leading to the dream island ....)
The road to the island is smooth and without traffic with a great visual impact during the trip (you can admire the wonders of the Corinth Strait, Mount Taigeto overlooking the city of Sparta and breathtaking sea views).
Car rental sites:
The first one takes you to a bus stop (they have a car rental office about 5 minutes from the airport) so you spend less, but the other ones are at the airport.
By ferry from Venice, Ancona, Brindisi, towards PATRAS, then from Patras in about 5 hours (Corinto / Tripoli / Sparta / Neapolis direction) you arrive at the ferry (10 minutes transfer) that leads to the island of dreams. ..
These ferries from Italy are real cruises, with cabins, restaurants, bars, swimming pools, shopping etc etc ...

Shortly before Neapolis there is the crossroads for Elafonissos.
